The Phlebotomy Program is a 5-week course.
Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM, followed by a 2-week daytime Clinical Externship 8 AM to 4 PM.

Students will complete 80 hours of practical clinical experience at one of our partner healthcare or medical facilities.
What are the prerequisites for admission into the Phlebotomy program?
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Show proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Pay the registration fee and arrange tuition payment
- Submit a signed admissions application and enrollment agreement
- Provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Have adequate manual dexterity and physical ability (vision, hearing, stamina, etc.)
- Successfully pass a national background check
- Complete the American Heart Association BLS certification before clinical placement
- Show proof of current health insurance
- Provide proof of all immunizations, including COVID-19 and Hepatitis B, or submit a completed HCTI Waiver Form
Note: Submitting a waiver form does not guarantee clinical placement.
- Completion of this program will make students eligible to sit for the NHA Phlebotomy Certification exam
